Moritz Körner, MdEP

Moritz Körner, born in 1990, is a member of the presidium of the FDP and a member of the state executive committee of the FDP of North Rhine-Westphalia. Since May 2019, he has been a member of the European Parliament and the FDP's spokesman on domestic policy and budgetary policy in the European Parliament, as well as a member of the delegations for relations with the People's Republic of China and the Republic of India. Previously, he was a member of the state parliament for the FDP in North Rhine-Westphalia from 2017 to 2019, where he was the chairman of the parliamentary committee of inquiry into the Amri case, the Berlin Christmas market bomber. From 2013 to 2018, Körner was chairman of the Young Liberals in North Rhine-Westphalia. Since then, he has been an advocate for youth parliaments at the local level.
